This appointment comes at a significant phase of development as we expand our allied health provision in healthcare and health science. The Role

We are recruiting on a full or part time basis, to join our expanding team. This is an exciting time to join the team as we expand physiotherapy at Roehampton. We continue to develop close links with practice as we teach and support the next generation of clinicians into the profession through applied and evidence-based learning experiences.

We are particularly interested in practitioners with experience in neurology, pelvic health, pediatrics or social care. Furthermore, we are interested in those with experience in academia looking for a new challenge in an evolving team with the opportunity for development and impact, and with experience of apprenticeships.

The successful candidate will have skills and experience working in contemporary practice as well as experience of supporting students as they prepare students for practice placement assisting as a placement link tutor.

Key responsibilities will include

Delivering teaching that encompasses employer and skills-led experiential learning and professional development.

Engaging in high-quality teaching and learning, supporting an excellent student experience and environment for development and success.

Contributing to curriculum development to ensure that the University’s education portfolio is innovative, attractive, and supports students from induction to employment.

Contributing to practice based learning and clinical placement provision to ensure learners are fit for professional practice in their field, utilising external networks.



The successful candidate will have skills and experience in

A demonstrable commitment to research-led or research-informed teaching.

Effective planning and delivery skills in high-quality, supportive teaching.

A strong understanding of disciplines closely aligned with Physiotherapy

Professional accreditation with HCPC.

Preferable experience in academia
