Summary
IDS‑INDATA is looking for a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst to support the continuous monitoring and triage of security alerts across customer environments, acting as the first line of defence against cyber threats. The successful candidate will review alerts generated by monitoring platforms, perform initial analysis to determine whether activity is benign or potentially malicious, and escalate validated threats in line with established procedures. This role is key to ensuring that customer environments are proactively monitored and that potential risks are identified at the earliest possible stage.
The SOC Analyst will support the investigation process by gathering and enriching relevant data, including system, network, and user activity, to provide context for further analysis. They will maintain accurate records of alerts, actions, and outcomes, ensuring a clear audit trail and enabling effective communication between teams. In addition to security monitoring, the role will contribute to broader operational awareness by identifying infrastructure or performance issues and ensuring these are appropriately recorded and escalated within the wider service team.
Working within IDS‑INDATA’s managed security service, the SOC Analyst will collaborate closely with senior engineers and delivery teams, supporting both security monitoring and wider service operations across multiple customer environments. The role offers the opportunity to develop practical cyber security skills in a fast-paced managed services environment, while contributing to the protection of critical infrastructure and business operations.
