A high-achieving primary school in Sutton is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.. In this Primary Teaching Assistant role, you will play an important part in supporting classroom learning across all Key Stages. You’ll lead guided reading sessions and phonics interventions, helping pupils to develop essential literacy skills, while providing 1:1 and small group support, including working closely with children with SEN. The role also involves encouraging pupils to become independent learners, building their confidence and supporting their overall academic and personal development, while promoting the school’s core values of kindness, honesty, and respect.
The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will be working full-time in a dynamic and rewarding school setting and will ideally have previous experience working with children, whether as a Primary Teaching Assistant or in a similar education role. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for working in a primary school environment are essential.
