Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver looking for regular weekday work with a well-established company?
Smart Solutions are recruiting a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy recycling and processing operation in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.
The Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely moving materials around the site, supporting recycling operations and maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
Load, unload and move recycling materials around the site.
Ensure materials are stored safely and in designated areas.
Support general yard and site operations as required.
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules.
Requirements
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (essential).
Previous Counterbalance FLT experience (essential).
Previous experience within a recycling, waste, yard, warehouse or industrial environment is advantageous.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
