Day Shifts: 8am – 3pm and 3pm – 10pm
Night Shifts: 9pm – 8am

About Our Client
Our client is a friendly gentleman who enjoys watching sport, particularly Formula One, cycling and golf. He has a long-standing passion for photography, travel, and food, and enjoys documentaries, music, and keeping up with subjects that interest him.
He values a calm, supportive environment and enjoys carers who are confident, proactive, and able to communicate patiently and effectively. Excellent communication skills and a calm, reassuring approach are essential.
This is a rural village location so own transport is required
About the Role
Our client lives with a progressive neurological condition and requires support with all aspects of daily living, including specialist healthcare tasks and personal care.
Duties will include:
• Full personal care and hygiene support
• Moving and handling including use of a hoist
• Supporting with meals and medication administration (RIG tube in situ)
• Catheter care
• Supporting with cough assist equipment and non-invasive ventilation (NIV)
• Repositioning and pressure area care
• Light household duties
• Providing reassurance, companionship, and person-centred support
• Accurate record keeping and communication with healthcare professionals where required
Full clinical training will be provided for delegated healthcare tasks.
What We're Looking For
• Caring, compassionate, and dependable
• Confident working independently in a client's home
• Comfortable supporting clients with complex healthcare needs
• Previous care experience is preferred
• Strong communicators with clear spoken English
• Able to remain calm under pressure
• Practical, proactive, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working around dogs
• Non-smokers
• Happy to undertake household tasks as part of the role
Experience with neurological conditions, RIG feeding, catheter care, ventilation support, or moving and handling is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
