Job description

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tester will be responsible for the delivery of all Liverpool City Council (LCC) owned testing for their assigned areas of HR, Payroll, Finance & Procurement throughout the ERP Programme. They will work with functional teams and the System Implementation (SI) to develop test scripts and deliver / manage resources to deliver each testing phase.
Within the role the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tester will:
• Collaborate on the overall testing strategy, ensuring that the planned tests cover critical business processes and integration points. Develop detailed test scripts, ensuring they accurately reflect business requirements
• Execute tests in line with the developed scripts
• Contribute to the identification, logging, and tracking of defects through to resolution, collaborating with appropriate LCC & SI teams to ensure timely fixes
• Support the management of resources through UAT to ensure successful delivery
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, scripts, results and defect reports, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders on testing progress and outcomes
• Proven experience of non functional testing (performance, security and accessibility testing)
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tester will be required to work 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
