sportscotland is looking for an HR Officer to work proactively with managers and staff, acting as a key point of contact for operational HR matters and providing professional advice and guidance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a true HR generalist role and we are looking for someone who will ensure a fair, consistent and legally compliant approach. You will support consultation with trade unions and play a key role in implementing HR policies and supporting organisational change initiatives.

The HR Officer will maintain accurate employee records on our HR system (iTrent) and work closely with our managed payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate processing.

We are looking for someone with strong generalist HR experience, excellent relationship-building skills and a sound understanding of employment law and effective people management practices. You will be confident working with a range of stakeholders, able to provide pragmatic advice, and committed to continuous improvement.

The successful candidate should have a minimum CIPD Certificate in People Practice (or equivalent) or demonstrable relevant experience.

* Please note successful candidates will be appointed at the entry point of the salary band.
