Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of social workers, providing supervision, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Develop, implement, and oversee social work policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans for service users.
Advocate for vulnerable individuals and ensure their needs and rights are prioritized in service delivery.
Contribute to the strategic planning and continuous improvement of social services within the organization.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of social work interventions and report outcomes to senior management.
Provide expert advice and support to staff regarding complex cases and safeguarding issues.
Build and maintain effective partnerships with external agencies and community organizations to enhance service provision.
Requirements
Registered Social Worker with relevant professional body accreditation.
Extensive experience in social work practice, including leadership or managerial roles.
In-depth knowledge of social work legislation, policies, and best practices.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team effectively.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Experience in safeguarding and working with vulnerable populations.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £31.71
