Responsibilities:
-Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and polishing surfaces in communal areas.
-Clean and sanitise areas to meet health and safety standards
-Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
-Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently
-Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
-Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
-Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and confidentiality
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
-Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
-Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
-Good organisational skills and reliability
-Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods
-A proactive approach towards health, safety, and hygiene practices
