Summary
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading utilities and infrastructure contractor for an organised and proactive Contract Team Leader to support leakage and network performance delivery across the South East Water region.
Location: Barcombe Mills (office and site-based role across the South East Water region)

Contract Team Leader Role
• Working closely with Regional Leakage Managers, you will coordinate Data Maintenance Technicians and support the effective delivery of leakage and network performance activities
• The role combines operational coordination, task management, data handling, field support and stakeholder communication across multiple workstreams
• You will support the management of monitoring assets, operational systems and field activity while helping maintain performance, reporting and compliance standards
• The role requires strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment
Contract Team Leader Responsibilities
• Coordinate and support Data Maintenance Technicians across operational activities and workloads
• Manage and track operational tasks through Waternet and associated systems
• Maintain accurate records, data reporting and operational documentation
• Support leakage and network performance delivery across active workstreams
• Assist with planning field activities, audits, logistics and operational scheduling
• Support incident response activities and ensure communication is maintained across relevant teams
• Monitor asset and task performance to support operational delivery targets
• Ensure compliance requirements and reporting standards are maintained
• Provide effective coordination across office and field-based operational activities
Contract Team Leader Requirements
Essential
• Experience within operational coordination, team support or field delivery environments.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with operational teams and stakeholders
• Confidence using IT systems, operational databases and reporting tools
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
Desirable
• Experience within the water, utilities or infrastructure sectors
• Knowledge of Waternet, Maximo or similar operational systems
• Understanding of leakage operations or network performance activities
• Relevant technical or operational qualifications
• Experience supporting field operations, audits or incident response activities
Work Pattern & Location
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, based from Barcombe Mills with up to four office days per week and the remainder site-based across the South East Water region. Hybrid and flexible working may be considered in line with operational requirements.
