Summary
What does the job involve? I am looking for an experienced Personal Care assistant /carer , to support me. I am a wheelchair user. The candidate will need to have experience working with disabled people in their own home and preferably know how to use a hoist .
The successful candidate will need to support me with personal care, domestic care, cooking …
The candidate should be trustworthy, very compassionate and respectful. They will need to have a professional work ethic with the highest regard to confidentiality.
Hours / days: 16 hours a week to be discussed at the interview
Pay rate: £15.15 per hour.
Skills / experience / qualifications required: Must have worked with disabled people in their own home . Preferably has experience of using a hoist
Due to the specific requirements of the role, consideration will only be given to Female candidates; this is in line with Equality Act 2010 guidelines on Genuine Occupational Requirements. Section 9; Schedule 83 [Work: Exceptions] (Part 1; Occupational Requirements) - applies to this post.”
