NOW HIRING – Band 5 Cath Lab Nurse
Join our Cardiology Day Unit and Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory team!
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse with Interventional Cardiology/Cath Lab experience to join a dynamic and supportive cardiac team ❤️.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation, delivery, and post-procedure care of invasive cardiac catheterisation procedures.
• Provide advanced cardiac nursing care, including ECG interpretation, cardiac monitoring, venepuncture, cannulation, and emergency response.
• Support and supervise junior nursing staff and students.
• Work collaboratively with consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in patient assessment, care planning, and discharge coordination.
Requirements:
✅ Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
✅ Previous Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology experience essential
✅ Strong ECG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
✅ Excellent communication and leadership abilities
✅ Evidence of continued professional development
