West Yorkshire Keyworker Service and West Yorkshire Neurodevelopmental Early Support Service are recruiting, and this could be the next role for you.
Barnardo's is recruiting a Team Manager (Operations) who will:
be passionate about and have experience of improving the lives of neurodivergent and diagnosed (autistic and/or learning disability)children, young people
operationally support management delivery across both services so we deliver safe service provision, support service development, ensuring service effectiveness.
Manage and work in a fast-paced and changing environment – overseeing group work and one to one interventions across both services.
Implement and oversee the triage of service users, using a framework and principles of peer support, to ascertain need, provide advice, guidance and support, identify suitable service pathway and ensure this is provided in a timely manner.
Work effectively as a team leader and support both services to positively function to meet KPIs and contract requirements.
Effectively manage your diary and have excellent time management skills.
Use recording systems effectively, having experience of recording within required timescales.
Understand the importance of safeguarding and implement this and how this relates to practice within early support and crisis models.
Have experience in data capture; with the ability to present data in management reports and progress reports to commissioners at Place and across West Yorkshire.
This is an exciting operations opportunity that has arisen in the West Yorkshire Keyworker Service and West Yorkshire Neurodevelopmental Early Support Service. It's a unique opportunity to combine non-clinical expertise, operational leadership and management in a fast paced, innovative environment that puts children, young people, young adults up to the age of 25 who are autistic and/or have a learning disability and their families at the heart of everything we do. For our West Yorkshire Neurodevelopmental Early Support Service our age range for neurodiverse children and young people is up to 18 years.
The overall aims and objectives for the services are families get the support they need to navigate complex systems, supported by someone they have built a trusting relationship with. We want the support needs to be focused on the prevention of hospital admission or family/placement breakdown, supporting mental health and re-engagement in community activities.
You will work alongside a strong management team to provide leadership, operational oversight and data management to inform keyworking and early needs support vision, priorities and development in West Yorkshire.
As Team Manager (Operations) you will provide additional management capacity and cover, leadership and support to ensure service delivery operates effectively across West Yorkshire Neurodevelopmental Early Support Service and if needed West Yorkshire Keyworker Service.
The focus of the role isService delivery oversight, quality assurance in delivery and ensuring service provision has the appropriate management oversight where it is identified and/or needed.
