Summary

Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join a specialist mental health service, providing high-quality care and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.

Position: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Salary: £36,296 to £39,511 per annum
Location: Hampshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time, including days and nights
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join a supportive and multidisciplinary clinical team. You will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care, promoting recovery, and helping individuals achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering high-quality nursing care within an agreed clinical framework

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care plans

-

Acting as a named nurse and working closely with patients and their families or carers

-

Monitoring patient wellbeing and responding appropriately to changes in presentation or need

Accurately observing, assessing, and engaging with patients to support recovery

-

Reviewing and updating nursing care plans to ensure effective and responsive care

-

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the multidisciplinary team

Maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to positive patient outcomes

Supporting a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification

-

Current NMC registration

-

Completion of a preceptorship programme

-

At least 6 to 12 months' post-registration experience

-

A sound understanding of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practice

-

Evidence of continuing professional development

-

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-

The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

-

A proactive and flexible approach to delivering high-quality care

-

A commitment to service improvement and positive patient outcomes
