A well-established and growing organisation within the materials handling and workplace equipment sector is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive expansion across Yorkshire.
This role is ideal for a proactive and commercially minded sales professional with proven B2B experience, who thrives on winning new business and building long-term client relationships within a technical or industrial setting.

The Role:
As Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of generating new business opportunities while managing a full sales pipeline across sectors such as warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying and winning new B2B business opportunities
Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Attending meetings, site visits, and industry events
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure excellent customer delivery
Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
The Candidate:
We are looking for a driven, target-focused individual with a strong sales mindset.
You will have:
Proven experience in a B2B sales role (essential)
Background as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or Account Manager
A demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
A self-motivated, proactive approach with a strong new business focus
Full UK driving licence
Experience within materials handling, industrial equipment, fleet, or technical sales would be advantageous, but not essential.
