Summary
Practice Manager (Part-Time) The Neaman Practice, Barbican, EC1A Job Title Practice Manager (Part-Time) Reporting To Senior Partner / GP Partners Hours 23 days per week Job Summary The Practice Manager will provide senior management oversight of governance, compliance, HR processes and quality improvement, ensuring the practice operates safely, effectively and in line with CQC and contractual requirements. The post holder will work alongside the Business Manager and Operations Manager, who are responsible for finance, strategy and day-to-day operations respectively, and therefore this role does not include operational or financial management responsibilities. The role focuses on maintaining strong systems, embedding good practice, supporting staff and ensuring continued development of a safe, high-quality and compliant organisation. Primary Responsibilities Governance and Compliance: - CQC readiness and regulatory compliance - Governance frameworks, policies and procedures - Information governance and data protection compliance Risk, Safety and Quality: - Oversight of risk register and action tracking - Health and safety governance - Significant events and learning processes - Audits and quality improvement Complaints and Learning: - Oversight of complaints process and learning outcomes HR Oversight: - Sickness absence, capability, disciplinary and grievance processes - Staff wellbeing and workforce support Safeguarding: - Oversight of safeguarding governance Performance and Clinical Support: - Support QOF, enhanced services and quality improvement Leadership: - Work with Operations Manager on escalated issues - Support Partners with leadership decisions - Contribute to governance and management meetings General Responsibilities - Maintain confidentiality - Comply with policies and procedures - Promote equality, diversity and inclusion - Participate in training and appraisal - Support continuous improvement
