Summary
To interpret and work from appropriate instructions, drawings and specifications. Ability to work in a multi-task environment. Ensure the security of all plant, equipment and buildings under the jurisdiction of the Maintenance Department. Make sure that any work areas are secure when working. Ensure that plant rooms are locked at all times. To use all relevant tools and equipment in accordance with manufacturers instructions and in compliance with health and safety guidelines, as appropriate. Report any building defects, surface damage or hazards identified during work to the Helpdesk and Line Manager. To assist the Estates Manager in the fulfilment of the departments aims and objectives. Working within defined technical parameters (HTMs). Prioritise own workload. Discuss any work-related issues with Line Manager. To participate in appropriate training courses or updates in accordance with mandatory requirements and individual Personal Development Plans. In conjunction with your Line Manager ensure that your Mandatory Training and PADs are kept up to date in line with Trust Policies and Procedures. You will also undertake additional tasks delegated by your Team Leader. To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested by Management
