Summer Cleaners Needed - University Accommodation
Looking for consistent summer work with weekly pay?
We are recruiting experienced Cleaners to support a university in Brighton from 18th June 2026 through to 18th September 2026.
Pay: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of £1.53 holiday pay)
Shifts: 9am - 3pm | Monday to Friday | Occasional weekends required
Dates: 18th June 2026 - 18th September 2026
About the role
You’ll play an important role in preparing university accommodation and campus facilities for incoming students by carrying out deep cleaning and housekeeping duties to a high standard.
Tasks include:
- Cleaning bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and shared areas
- Making beds and replenishing supplies
- Following health and safety procedures
- Reporting maintenance or safety issues
- Supporting a clean and welcoming environment across campus
What we’re looking for:
- At least 6 months’ experience working as a cleaner
- Reliable and available throughout the summer
- 18+ with the Right to work in the UK
- Willing to complete a Basic DBS check
- Comfortable moving loads up to 10kg
- Good communication and customer service skills
