Summary
Contract: Permanent Schedule: 27 hours per week, distributed over three shifts; Monday to Saturday Shift hours:10:00pm 7:00am Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, Band 2 (AFC-aligned): £12.92 per hour, plus a generous 41% uplift as a night shift enhancement. Location: Community-Based Canterbury What we are looking for Experience providing hands-on care in a health or social care setting, ideally including end-of-life or community-based care. A compassionate, person-centred approach and the ability to support patients and families with dignity and empathy. Confidence working independently during night shifts while also contributing positively to a wider multidisciplinary team. Good communication skills, emotional resilience, and a calm, professional approach in sensitive situations. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable, but not essential. A valid driving license and access to a car are essential, as you will travel to patients homes across the community.
