Join the Theory Test team as a Product Specialist, shaping high-quality test content that meets DVSA standards and customer needs. You will develop and review multiple-choice questions and visual materials, analyse performance data to drive improvements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The role includes supporting accessible testing, overseeing language modification services, and preparing content for delivery. You’ll use data and clear writing skills to enhance products, with training provided and opportunities to influence future test design.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
Create and improve theory test products, from the idea stage through to implementationSchedule and publish content updates, informing stakeholders and monitoring performance following publishEnsure translations and voiceovers are ordered, checked for accuracy and uploaded to the content management systemAnalyse product data to understand the impact of any changes. Use this information to create recommendations, proposals and options for reviewMaintain quality standards for content to ensure it is accessible for a wide audience. This includes having an awareness of BSL requirements and using Plain English to write clearly for content and communicationsParticipate in and present theory test content work in meetings that may include senior managers from internal and external stakeholder groups. Represent at events as a subject matter expertFoster good communication and teamwork by responding politely and promptly to questions and requests from internal and external customersAct as a language modifier for customers in the test centre who require additional adjustments to access the theory testGreat line management is important to us as an organisation, and we will equip and support line managers to develop the skills they need.
