Summary
N&C Glass, part of the Nicholls and Clarke Group of Companies, specialise in the processing and distribution of glass and has been supplying quality products to the glass industry for over a century.
Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for Glass Operatives and Processors to join our busy processing team in Beckton, London, working on the day shift.
Role responsibilities for the Glass Operative:
• Machine operating
• Glass handling
• Manual handling
• Glass processing
• Stock control
• Overhead and forklift operation
• Ensuring all products meet customer specifications
• Maintaining a safe production and clean working environment
Requirements for the Glass Operative:
• Previous experience in glass manufacturing
• Able to follow directions, work in a team and work independently
• Ability to produce high-quality goods for our customers
• Retain knowledge of products and the processes involved
• Ability to use your initiative day to day when manufacturing goods
• Self-motivated and attention to detail
