Are you a passionate Science teacher who thrives in a specialist setting? Do you have the resilience and creativity to engage learners with SEMH needs and help them succeed in KS3 and KS4 Science?

NextGen Teachers is proud to be working with a Specialist SEMH provision in Nottingham to recruit a dedicated KS3/KS4 Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, permanent, term-time only basis.

As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Science lessons to pupils with SEMH needs
- Plan and adapt learning to meet a wide range of emotional and behavioural needs
- Build strong, positive relationships with students to support engagement and progress
- Create a structured, safe and supportive classroom environment
- Work closely with support staff and pastoral teams to ensure holistic student development
- Track progress and support pupils in achieving meaningful outcomes
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Science
- Experience working with SEMH or in a specialist setting (preferred but not essential)
- A calm, consistent and resilient teaching style
- Ability to build trust and motivate hard-to-reach learners
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a difference
- Specialist SEMH provision with a strong focus on personalised learning
- Supportive leadership team and collaborative staff culture
