We're working with a number of specialist schools across Basingstoke that are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs on both a flexible and long-term basis.

Whether you're looking to start a career in education or bring your existing skills into a school setting, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

You don't need previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant to apply.

Schools are often looking for people with the right personal qualities - patience, resilience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with young people.

If you've worked in care, coaching, youth services, customer-facing roles, or have personal experience supporting others, your skills could be highly valuable in the classroom.

We'll provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
- Supporting students with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
- Working alongside teachers to create engaging and supportive learning experiences
- Providing one-to-one and small group support
- Helping students develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
- Encouraging students to achieve both academically and personally

No two days are the same.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll become a trusted adult for students who may need additional guidance, encouragement, and support throughout their school day.

You'll gain valuable practical experience while developing skills that can support future careers in:
