Summary
Who are we?
St Andrew’s Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting conditions, which require complex symptom management, and/or end-of-life care. It is Lanarkshire’s specialist hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families and carers. The service is provided completely free of charge for the adult population of North and South Lanarkshire and is open to all without distinction of race, gender or creed.

What is the role?
This vacancy is a temporary role for 3 months. You will carry out general facilities duties. These will include moving & handling of goods related to patient activities. An understanding of basic DIY, gutter cleaning and conducting minor repairs. You will drive on behalf of the Hospice with MIDAS training preferred. You may be required to carry out basic portering jobs and work in a variety of settings including wards, kitchens, offices and the mortuary.
