We strive to ensure every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential and develop aspirations for the future.We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will work across our three mixed-age classes, supporting pupils in their learning and development both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. The role would be for 17 hours per week (Monday - Thursday) and include leading some after-school clubs.We are looking for someone who has a strong passion for supporting children to progress and achieve their potential, alongside a willingness to learn and develop new skills. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, flexible, and able to use their initiative while working effectively as part of a team. A good command of the English language is essential, along with experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in partnership with a class teacher. Candidates should hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the varying needs of both teachers and pupils, including strong behaviour management skills.This position is initially offered on a fixed-term basis for one year, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.If you are passionate about making a difference and would like to be part of a nurturing school community, we would love to hear from you.
