Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:30 – 3:30), term time only (including INSET days)

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and creative individual to take the role of a Care Assistant within our SEND Team, which is led by our experienced SENDCo and newly appointed Deputy SENDCo.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an aspiring teaching assistant or care assistant to gain experience in successful Nottingham City primary school.

Your main responsibility is to support the class teacher with the education for SEND pupils and ensuring the safety, general welfare and wellbeing of pupils throughout the school day, this can be within the classroom and/or within our Enhanced Provision unit (The Willow).
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in a childcare (Nursery, pre-school or primary school)
Experience of working in a setting subject to safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Good communication skills
The ability to work well on your own and as part of a team
A positive attitude and sense of humour
A willingness to learn new skills
