We’re looking for a confident, ambitious Registered Manager to lead one of our 6‑bedded CQC‑registered respite services supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Known for our exceptional responsiveness in crisis and emergency placements, we work closely with families to deliver truly person‑centred support, ensuring each stay is enabling people to maintain independence while giving carers valuable time to rest and recharge.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strong, visible leadership to a dedicated team
• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and organisational policies
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support that reflects individual preferences and needs
• Oversee care planning, risk management, and safeguarding practices
• Manage staffing, recruitment, performance, and development
• Maintain effective partnership working with families, commissioners, and external professionals
• Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and service development
• Ensure governance, reporting, and operational processes are consistently completed
About You
• Proven experience in a management role within adult social care
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworks
• Experience delivering or overseeing respite or residential care services (desirable)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
• A confident and motivating leader with excellent people management skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• A proactive approach with a commitment to high standards of care
Additional Requirements
• Enhanced DBS check with Adults’ Barred List
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
• Participation in on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support
