We are looking for experienced Lead Technical Architects, who are confident working on products and services in a complex digital environment, where you’ll be supporting major initiatives within our Data & Analytics function.
This is an inherently complex area, combining sensitive data handling at scale, cloud security and live service integration which is currently undertaking significant modernisation including transition to Cloud Native solutions.
One role sits within the D&A Architecture and Engineering Team providing guidance and assurance across the Data & Analytics landscape working alongside other Technical Leads to ensure delivery of End to End Technical Solutions which are aligned to Digital Standards and patterns embedding Security by Design and Data by Design.
The other role sits within the Data Enablement Layer of the Data & Analytics Organisation leading the Solution Architecture collaborating with other Technical Roles to ensure Data Products are well designed, built and delivered to DWP Design and Engineering Standards and meet User needs.
A Lead Technical Architect leads at the highest level and is responsible for making sure the strategy is agreed and followed.
At this role level, you will:
- Network and communicate with senior stakeholders across organisations.
- Proactively seek opportunities for digital transformation.
- Support multiple teams, finding and using best practice and emerging technologies.
- Inspire other architects and help them understand how to deliver the goals of the organisation.
- Be responsible for governance, solving complex and high risk issues or delivering architecture design.
