Nursery Manager – Thorley (CM23)

Are you a confident and inspiring Nursery Manager looking for a new challenge leading a busy and supportive early years setting?

Winner Education are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee a thriving nursery in Thorley (CM23), ensuring children receive exceptional care and early years education. You will lead and develop a dedicated team, maintain the highest standards of care and compliance, and create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can flourish.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references, including one from their most recent employer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, and support nursery staff to deliver outstanding care and education
  • Ensure full EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding compliance
  • Manage nursery budgets, occupancy, and resources effectively
  • Build positive relationships with parents, staff, and the local community
  • Support staff development and professional growth
  • Drive continuous improvement across the nursery setting
  • Maintain a safe, calm, and well-organised environment for all children
    Requirements:
    • Level 3 childcare qualification (NNEB, BTEC, CACHE, NVQ or equivalent)
    • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Assistant Nursery Manager
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
    • A proactive and commercially aware approach
    • Passion for early years education and child development
