We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Night Carer to join our night team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of care throughout the night.
The Role
As a Senior Night Carer, you will lead the night care team, ensuring residents receive safe, responsive, and person-centred care. You will act as a role model for colleagues, support the smooth running of the home during night hours, and respond effectively to residents' needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality personal care with dignity and respect.
• Lead and support the night care team, providing guidance and supervision.
• Administer medication in accordance with company policies and procedures (where qualified).
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond appropriately to any changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Conduct regular safety and welfare checks throughout the night.
• Liaise effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and management when required.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Promote residents' independence, choice, and wellbeing.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience working in a senior care role within a residential or nursing care setting.
• Holds, or is willing to work towards, a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Is compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding care.
• Has a good understanding of safeguarding, medication management, and person-centred care.
• Can work confidently and independently during night shifts.
