The Role:

Ready to help shape the future of Stoke-on-Trent? We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people‑focused Funding Programme Assistant to support the delivery of exciting regeneration and economic growth projects across our city.



In this busy and rewarding role, you will:

Support the delivery and monitoring of UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) projects and other major funding programmes.
Work closely with partners from the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Manage project claims, ensure spend is compliant, and provide high‑quality reporting.
Assist with board papers, minutes, project documentation and communications.
Help maintain reporting systems, track performance and keep stakeholders informed.


We’re looking for someone who has:

· Strong organisational, administration and project support skills.

· Experience working in a fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

· A good understanding of project management principles.

· Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

· Confidence handling data, writing reports and supporting meetings.

· A collaborative, proactive, and problem‑solving approach.
