Part-Time Music Teacher

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented part-time Music Teacher to join our thriving and supportive school community in West Essex from September 2026.
About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality music teaching across [Key Stages 1-3 / Key Stages 2-4 - amend as appropriate], inspiring pupils of all abilities to develop a love of music. The role may include a combination of classroom teaching, instrumental tuition, and contribution to extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated music lessons
· Foster creativity, confidence, and musical appreciation in students
· Lead or support choirs, ensembles, and school performances
· Prepare pupils for concerts, recitals, and (where appropriate) examinations
· Contribute to the wider cultural and artistic life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS) or equivalent experience
· Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education
· Experience teaching in a school or similar environment
· The ability to teach at least one instrument to a high standard (preferred)
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
