- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with diverse sensory needs
- Implementing sensory-based activities and interventions to enhance student engagement and learning
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute comprehensive support plans
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adapting support strategies as needed
- Fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that encourages student growth and independence
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
- Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with children or young adults with sensory processing disorders or other special educational needs
- Strong understanding of sensory-based interventions and the ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and the wider team
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the students
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continuously improve your practice
