Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, tailoring your approach to their individual needs and learning styles.
- Assist in the delivery of lessons and educational activities, collaborating closely with teachers to ensure seamless integration and effective implementation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of SEND-specific strategies, ensuring that students receive the necessary support to achieve their goals.
- Monitor and record student progress, effectively communicating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a sense of belonging and empowering students to reach their full potential.
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols, ensuring the well-being and safety of students at all times.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant educational or SEND-related qualifications, such as a degree, diploma, or certificate in Special Educational Needs, Teaching Assistants, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving, with a flexible approach to supporting students' diverse needs.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, enabling you to prioritise tasks and manage your workload effectively.
- A deep understanding of SEND-specific teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and best practices in inclusive education.
