EYFS Teaching Assistant - Enfield - Full Time - £100-£117 per day
We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school based in Enfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children in the early stages of their education. The school is looking for a nurturing, reliable, and proactive EYFS TA who can help create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
The Role:
- Supporting children within an EYFS / Reception setting
- Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Supporting children with early literacy, phonics, numeracy, communication, and social development
- Helping set up creative and play-based learning activities
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Encouraging positive behaviour, routines, and independence
- Supporting children during transitions, snack times, outdoor play, and classroom activities
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous EYFS, nursery, childcare, or school-based experience
- Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be confident supporting young children's learning and development
- Understand the importance of safeguarding and child wellbeing
- Be reliable, proactive, and able to use their own initiative
