Summary

Want to build a career supporting young people while making a real difference every day?

Or perhaps you already have experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals and are looking for a rewarding role within education?

We're working with a number of specialist schools across Fareham that are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams on both flexible and long-term placements.

Whether you're looking to gain classroom experience, explore a future career in education, or simply want a role where your support genuinely matters, we'd love to hear from you.

You don't need to have worked in a school or as an SEN Teaching Assistant before.

Schools are looking for people who can build trust, show empathy, and provide consistent support to students who may face additional challenges in their learning journey.

If you have transferable skills and a positive attitude, we'll help you develop the rest through training and ongoing support.
- Supporting students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
- Working one-to-one and with small groups of pupils
- Encouraging positive engagement with learning
- Helping students develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams

Being an SEN Teaching Assistant is about more than supporting learning.

It's about helping young people feel understood, valued, and capable of achieving success.

You'll gain valuable experience working with students who require additional support, while developing skills that can lead to careers in:
- Teaching
- Educational Psychology
- Clinical Psychology
- Youth Work
- Counselling
- Pastoral and Behaviour Support

We're particularly keen to hear from:
- Sports coaches
- Psychology graduates
- Youth workers
- Support workers
- Care professionals
- Graduates considering a career in education
- Anyone with experience supporting children or young people

If you're patient, resilient, and passionate about helping young people succeed, you could be a great fit.
- Flexible and long-term SEN Teaching Assistant opportunities
- Weekly PAYE pay from £90-£100 per day
- Free CPD and training including:
