Ark Atwood Primary Academy is looking to appoint an Assistant Principal for Inclusion to join the senior leadership team and champion inclusion across the school. This is the ideal role for a high-quality teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and is ambitious about leading and developing others. The Assistant Principal will be responsible for ensuring that inclusion drives whole-school standards so that pupils with SEND achieve highly within the same ambitious culture as their peers. The appointed candidate will join Ark Atwood in January 2027, or sooner if possible.

The Assistant Principal for Inclusion will be a core member of the senior leadership team and share collective responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and strategic direction of the school. The successful candidate will also be a member of both the Teaching and Learning Team and the Safeguarding Team, ensuring inclusion is embedded across school standards, safeguarding practice and staff development.
