Join our dynamic Research & Innovation Laboratory Team at York Teaching Hospital as a Healthcare Science Associate Practitioner and play a key role in supporting innovative clinical research.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of aspecialist, close-knit teamdelivering high-quality laboratory support to a wide range of research studies acrossYork and Scarborough Hospitals.You will join a dedicated research-focused laboratory team, where collaboration, expertise and attention to detail are essential. Despite being a small team, you will be part of a wider network of skilled professionals committed to advancing clinical research across the Trust.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team and support the delivery of an efficient, high-quality and responsive Laboratory Medicine service for clinical research.
In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
• Play a key part in supporting a diverse portfolio of clinical trials and research projects
• Assess the capacity and capability of laboratory services to support new and developing studies
• Ensure strict compliance with research protocols, laboratory manuals and regulatory standards
• Contribute to work that is subject to external inspections and governance requirements
• Help maintain the highest standards of accuracy, organisation and quality in research delivery
