Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join Central London Community Healthcare Trust’s well-established rotation in Barnet, North London.
Rotations include Intermediate Care Services, Unplanned Care (Rapid Response, D2A), Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Stroke Rehabilitation, each lasting six months with start dates in April and October.
Successful applicants will benefit from regular supervision, peer support groups, structured appraisals and a variety of learning and development opportunities to support career growth.
We welcome applications from Occupational Therapists with a BSc or MSc and HCPC registration, excellent organisational and communication skills and experience assessing needs, setting goals and creating treatment plans across diverse healthcare settings.
A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable. Applicants must be able to work 37.5 hours per week across a 7-day service and travel between locations.

• Undertake occupational therapy assessments for a designated caseload, addressing self-care, productivity, and leisure needs.
• Develop person-centred intervention plans to maximise independence and reflect clients’ goals.
• Work independently across hospital sites, homes, and community settings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver individual and group interventions.
• Prioritise referrals and manage caseloads within service standards.
• Work with clients, families, and professionals to set occupational therapy goals as part of care plans.
• Plan and implement graded activities to achieve therapeutic objectives.
• Monitor and review treatment to measure progress and adjust interventions.
• Conduct home assessments, identifying adaptations or assistive technology to enhance safety and independence.
