Summary
The postholder will provide senior clinical leadership and operational oversight within both ACOT and ACT, supporting the delivery of safe, personcentred and recoveryfocused care for people with highneed alcoholrelated presentations. This includes holding a small caseload of complex service users, completing thorough assessments, formulating and reviewing care plans, and supporting proactive risk management and safeguarding. The role includes responsibility for the line management and clinical supervision of designated staff, supporting their development, wellbeing and confidence in managing complexity. The postholder will promote reflective practice, a positive team culture and effective multidisciplinary working. Alongside core clinical leadership responsibilities, the postholder will contribute to a defined programme of service development and improvement work across the integrated Alcohol Care Pathway. This may include pathway development, standard operating procedures, data quality, partnership working and audit or evaluation activity. These projects will be agreed with the Clinical Service Lead and form a meaningful but secondary element of the role. The postholder will work closely with the Operational Team Manager and Band 7 Lead Nurse to ensure consistency, communication and strong working relationships across hospital and community interfaces. Some evening and weekend working will be required in line with service need.
