Summary
The postholder will: Hold full registration and licence to practise with the GMC . Provide general care at registrar level to the patients admitted, including supervision of day-to-day management. Care for both the emergency admissions and in-patients in cardiology, including regular participation in ward rounds and assessment of patients referred from other departments. Escalate any concerns and seek advice from senior colleagues where needed. Provide an out-patient service under consultant supervision in specialist cardiology clinics. Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and procedures. Participate in the training, teaching and supervision of junior colleagues.
