Client Group: Adults (18+) – Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Complex Needs
We are recruiting for an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead a small, specialist service. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a developing service and drive high standards of care in a close-knit, person-centred environment.
The home supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex needs, providing tailored care within a structured and supportive setting.
There is also an exciting opportunity to commission a new service nearby which will be a 14 bed service for the same client group
About the Role As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the service. Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and standards
Leading, motivating, and developing the staff team
Promoting a culture of person-centred care and continuous improvement
Overseeing care planning, risk management, and quality assurance
Managing budgets, occupancy levels, and overall service performance
Building and maintaining relationships with families, professionals, and commissioners
Requirements
Previous experience as a Registered Manager, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care
