The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the LEAPS team as a Project Support Officer to support our efforts to widen participation in higher education.
LEAPS is a widening participation programme which aims to encourage and advise young people who are underrepresented in higher education. We currently work with state secondary schools throughout South East Scotland and the Forth Valley area, supporting pupils who match LEAPS eligibility criteria. This role has a focus on supporting the LEAPS Transitions Course alongside the wider LEAPS programme of activities and delivery. There will be a mix of administrative support and delivery and contributing to the development and successful delivery of our work.
This is an entry-level opportunity to work in widening participation. The post-holder will be given professional development opportunities within a supportive team with a focus on high-quality and professional delivery in WP.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); and combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. The role requires working on and off-campus, in schools and partner institutions for delivery of LEAPS activities.
