Job/Person Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our busy and supportive Learning Support Department as an SEN Administrator. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the SEN provision within the College. You will provide dedicated administrative support for the Year 7 cohort, acting as a central point of contact for parents and supporting students during their transition to the College.
We are looking for a flexible, calm and proactive individual who can work under pressure, manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to the Assistant Headteacher, SENCO.
• Act as the single point of contact for Year 7 parents, responding to queries and facilitating communication.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEN records and databases
• Liaise with internal staff and external professionals to support SEN provision
• Log and monitor pastoral concerns, ensuring accurate recording and timely escalation
• Ensure all statutory deadlines and requirements are met
The successful candidate will:
• Have excellent administrative and organisational skills
• Demonstrate strong communication skills with staff, parents and external agencies
• Be able to work calmly under pressure and use initiative
• Be committed to supporting young people and promoting inclusion
