This supportive role in a smaller school is ideal for Early Career Teachers or for more experienced teachers looking to test the waters working in a mixed class.
Our Opportunity
We are looking for a teacher to join our Base 1 Class, this mixed class includes reception, year 1 and year 2.
Base 1 is a wonderful class to be part of. Our older children set fantastic examples for learning for our younger children. Our children have been busy exploring the world through the adventures of famous explorers, creating art and music, investigating nature, designing moving creations, and bringing their learning to life through stories, outdoor experiences, and hands-on discovery.
Your role is key in laying the vital foundations that inspire and prepare pupils for their exciting journey into Key Stage Two.
With the support of two talented teaching assistants and a smaller school setting surrounded by beautiful scenery, this role offers a genuinely nurturing and rewarding working environment.
You will be:
• A knowledgeable and reflective practitioner with a strong understanding of teaching, learning and the primary curriculum.
• A positive role model who builds effective relationships with staff, parents and guardians.
• Committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive and high-achieving learning environment that promotes accelerated progress.
• An excellent classroom practitioner who consistently delivers high-quality teaching and learning.
