A warm and welcoming family of five based on a private estate in Berkshire are seeking an experienced, professional, and hands-on Nanny to join their household for the summer period.
The family have three young children aged 7, 5 and 4 and are looking for a proactive and energetic individual who can provide engaging childcare throughout the school holidays whilst also offering practical support to the wider family. This role would suit a nanny who enjoys becoming an integral part of family life, is happy to adopt a mother's-help approach and thrives in a busy household environment.
The successful candidate will be confident caring for multiple children, planning fun and enriching activities and providing an extra pair of hands wherever needed. Flexibility, initiative and a positive attitude are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare & Holiday Support
• Providing attentive, nurturing and age-appropriate care for the children
• Planning engaging activities, outings and adventures throughout the school holidays
• Supporting children's routines and wellbeing
• Encouraging creativity, independence and positive development
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Supervising day-to-day activities and ensuring a fun, safe and stimulating environment
• Assisting with homework and educational activities where appropriate
Family Assistance & Household Support
• Supporting the mother with the day-to-day logistics of family life
• Acting as an extra pair of hands during busy periods
• Helping to organise children's schedules, belongings and activities
• Children's laundry and wardrobe organisation
• Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas and belongings organised and well maintained
• Packing and unpacking for family trips and holidays
• Running occasional errands as required
• Providing flexible support wherever needed to help ensure the smooth running of family life
• Accompanying the family on trips and holidays when required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Have previous experience working as a nanny within a private household, ideally within an HNW environment
• Be warm, engaging and genuinely passionate about childcare
• Be energetic, proactive and highly organised
• Be reliable, trustworthy and highly discreet
• Have a positive, flexible and can-do attitude
• Be hands-on and willing to assist wherever needed
• Be confident caring for multiple young children
• Be happy travelling domestically and internationally with the family
• Hold a full UK driving licence
Schedule/ Detail
• Monday-Friday | 7:30am-7:30pm, with occasional weekend/ evening support.
• Initial 2-3 Month Contract with Potential to Extend
• Live-in option available if required
• Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience.
