Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure maximum productivity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first and second-line technical support to staff via phone, email, and in person
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control systems
Support Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace and other business applications
Monitor system performance and ensure IT security best practices are followed
Maintain IT inventory and documentation of systems and procedures
Assist in setup and support of new employee onboarding (laptops, accounts, tools)
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary
Ensure regular updates, backups, and system maintenance are performed
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk role
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
Understanding of networking basics (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS)
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Freshdesk, ServiceNow)
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS basics)
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash)
Familiarity with Active Directory / Entra ID
Experience in remote support tools
