Position Summary Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for wrapping all products.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
• Pallet Wrapping and Preparation: Wrap pallets securely with stretch film, check pallet suitability, and configure pallets for loading.
• Order Picking and Packing: Select items from the packing area and load them onto ramps or into containers.
• Labelling: Apply labels to packages and pallets, record pallet details, and clearly mark pallets with black marker for warehouse stock identification.
• Quality Control: Inspect products and packaging for damage or defects before wrapping and shipping.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods from trucks or other transport vehicles.
• Material Handling: Move pallets and other items using pallet jacks, pump trucks, or other material handling equipment.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels, including counting and recording pallet counts.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures related to the job.
• Maintaining Work Area: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Productivity: Meet established productivity and accuracy standards. Required Essential Skills and Qualification
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in machine setup, quality checks, and documentation.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication with team members, supervisors, and other relevant personnel.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to following safety procedures and promoting a safe working environment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Required Personal Attributes
