Summary

Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer

Job Type: Days based, Perm

Location: Corsham

Hours: 39 hours Mon–Thurs 8am to 5pm / Fri 8am–1pm

Pay: £18-£22ph DOE

Our client is an established manufacturer with over 60 years of engineering excellence and is currently expanding. This position would suit a hardworking individual with a passion for precision engineering and CNC machining.

Job Overview

• Manufacture precision components to supplied CAD and drawings

• Operate and program CNC lathes using Fanuc controls

• Confidently set and run multiple machines during peak production periods

• Maintain tooling and program records for all components produced

• Work closely with Production Engineering to improve processes and machining methods

• Carry out basic inspection of parts to ensure ongoing quality standards

• Follow health and safety procedures and contribute positively to a safe working environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working on CNC lathes

• Apprentice trained would be beneficial

• Previous CAD/CAM experience would be beneficial
