Summary
I'm a local Afro, Caribbean & European hair salon, looking for a reliable, motivated person to join my salon team. This role is supported by the Jobcentre Wage Incentive, perfect if you want to learn new skills and build a career in hairdressing. Full training is given, no experience needed, but should have some knowledge and be comfortable with afro hair.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist with salon cleanliness, preparing workstations
- Help with shampooing, conditioning, and client care
- Learn hairdressing basics and salon routines step-by-step
- Provide friendly, welcoming services to all clients
- Follow health, safety & hygiene standards
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Keen to learn and reliable with good timekeeping
- Friendly, polite, and enjoys working with people
- Be comfortable with Afro hair
- Eligible Jobcentre/ Universal Credit claimants welcome
